Downtown Rotary welcomes Lisa Schropp

LOCK HAVEN -- Lisa Schropp is the newest member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven. She received her membership pin and certificate Tuesday, March 19, when Club President Marianne Lotfi inducted her into membership.
Wendy Doherty sponsored her for membership and said, "Lisa is going to be a great Rotarian! She is already joining in and supporting our service projects."
Lisa lives in Lock Haven and works in advertising at The Express community newspaper. She graduated from Lock Haven University and received its Rebecca Gross Outstanding Communication Senior Award.
She enjoys writing, reading and collecting special editions. The Express recently featured one of her articles on the front page. She also enjoys going for walks with her dog, Vallie, and visiting Knoebels and other amusement parks.
A Leadership Clinton County participant, Lisa recently volunteered with Frozen Snot Trail Race, Boxes of Hope and The New Love Center.
As a new Rotarian, Lisa said, "After living and working in Lock Haven for 18 years, I am excited to serve the community in this new role."
