WoodmenLife Chapter 691 of Howard held its annual hot dog and corn boil picnic in August at the Bald Eagle State Park near Howard. Chapter members and their families brought covered dishes to share for the evening picnic. Joining the local chapter members and officers were WoodmenLife Regional Director Michaele Geibel and WoodmenLife Community Outreach Advisor Mickey Pennington. On behalf of Chapter 691 and WoodmenLife, Pennington made a special check presentation of $3,500 to members of the Beech Creek-Blanchard Fire Company.
