HOWARD -- Howard Area Lions Club participated in the Lions Day at the Titan Market in Bellefonte on Oct. 12. Several other local Lions Clubs were also in attendance. Titan Market's Lions Day was held to remind people that the Lions are in their communities and to answer any questions individuals may have.
Howard Area Lions were collecting donations for White Cane Awareness Day, a program held annually in October to benefit those who are blind.
Individuals are encouraged to join the Lions organization and serve their community with others in the Howard Area Lions Club. You don't need to live in Howard to request a membership application to become a member of the club.
