The Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 announced the selection of Ava McNeal as the Bellefonte Area High School October Student of the Month. Ava is an outstanding student, who exemplifies dedication both in and outside the classroom. Ava consistently maintains excellent grades across all her subjects and has emerged as a leader within the school community, such as the president of Key Club. Her leadership has been instrumental in organizing impactful service projects, including decorating The Oaks for Christmas, assisting local elementary schools with workshops and fairs and fundraising for various charitable organizations. In addition, Ava has supported food and toy drives for the local Food Bank and Toys for Tots. With plans to become a teacher, Ava is a remarkable young woman, whose contributions have left a lasting impact on our school and community.
