For many patients in veterans facilities and elsewhere, time moves slowly between visits from friends and relatives. Recently, the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094’s Veterans Service Committee provided coin purse, wristband and wallet leather kits to veterans at Centre Care in Centre County as part of its Veterans Leather Program. The veterans appeared to immensely enjoy the opportunity to participate in the program.
