The Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 recently donated $1,000 for the YMCA Polar Bear Plunge. The Bellefonte Elks are Gold Sponsors this year. It is the 22nd Annual Polar Bear Plunge, wherein brave community members with warm hearts have been plunging into cold water each December to help the Y strengthen its community outreach. Every dollar raised helps the Y give back and support the community. The plunge will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Black Moshannon State Park.
