Bellefonte Elks announce January Student of the Month

PHOTO PROVIDED Haley Way was recently named the Bellefonte Elk’s Student of the Month for January.

BELLEFONTE -- The Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 recently announced the selection of Haley Way as the Bellefonte Area High School's January 2025 Student of the Month.

Haley's academic resume includes several AP and Honors courses. Her ability to excel is exceeded by her unwavering curiosity and drive.

Haley is a natural leader and a thoughtful collaborator. She actively engages with peers, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.

Haley has participated in several community-based events, through the National Honor Society, contributing to increasing morale at the school.

Haley embodies the qualities of a well-rounded scholar, and individual curiosity, perseverance and integrity. She exemplifies the core values celebrated by the Elks Student of the Month Award Program: academic excellence, leadership and a commitment to making a positive difference.

Haley will now be in consideration for the Bellefonte Elks Student of the Year Award.
