The annual YMCA Polar Bear Plunge, which will take place on Dec. 6, features brave community members who support the Bellefonte Y, by plunging into the frigid waters of Black Moshannon Dam at Black Moshannon State Park. Every dollar raised through this effort helps the Y give back and support local communities in the Bellefonte Y service area. The Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 donated $1,000 to the Polar Bear Plunge effort this year.
