Bellefonte Elks support Union Cemetery

The Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094, through its Garver Fund, has once again chosen to support the Bellefonte Union Cemetery, in the amount of $2,000, to assist with maintenance costs for this historic resting place for many Centre County dignitaries. Covering over 2,000 acres, this Cemetery is the final resting place of three Pennsylvania governors, several Penn State University founders and the grandfather of The Mills Brothers singing group. The Cemetery was established in 1808, and chartered in 1856.
