In December, the Bellefonte Elks provided Christmas boxes for nearly 100 needy families in the Elks service area. Each box was assembled and distributed by Elks volunteers, and, in addition to a ham, potatoes, veggies, etc, included was a dozen cookies baked and donated by the students at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology. Before the packing and distribution took place, the many volunteers were treated to a pancake breakfast. Ten members of the Bellefonte High School Football team and three coaches helped carry the donated boxes to the cars of the members of the public picking them up. Here is a look at all the volunteers who participated in this year’s Holiday event, plus the variety of photos related to the Bellefonte Elks Christmas Charity Program.
