Every month, the Greater Buffalo Run Valley Food Pantry faces the challenge of providing for the increased demand of new families needing food supply assistance. The food pantry demand has grown from the high 20s to over 40 families to whom it provides food assistance. Instituting assistance through its Garver Fund, the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 has provided support in the amount of $1,000 to the pantry.
