The Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 came away with two Bellefonte Area Elementary School winners at the State Elks Drug Awareness Poster contest, as follows: The first place winner for fifth grade is a Pleasant Gap Elementary School student, Cayden Mix (lower photo). Shown in photo are Elks Exalted Ruler Lorna Spearly, Caden and teacher April Mix, who is also Caden’s mom. The first place winner for fourth grade is a Benner Township Elementary School student Ryland Walk. Pictured with Ryland are Elks Exalted Ruler Lorna Spearly school principal, Park. Each winning entry receives a $100 gift card of his choice.
