The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven gave three scholarships again this year to Central Mountain High School seniors. Two of them visited the club June 9 and talked about their college and career plans. Remington Veltri, second from left, will major in early childhood education at Juniata College and hopes to become a kindergarten teacher and soccer coach. Reese Walizer, next to her, has the goal of owning a business that will help her community. She will study business and analytics at Susquehanna University and plans to participate in the university’s study abroad program. Lillian Germello was the third scholarship winner but could not attend. With them are Club President Lisa Schropp, left, and Rotary Area Governor Diahann Claghorn who is the club’s scholarship co-chair.
