Little Boxes, Big Impact: Downtown Rotary packs boxes with hope

LOCK HAVEN -- The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven had fun at Boxes of Hope on Aug. 11, filling 100 pink boxes with gifts and inspiration for people going through breast cancer treatment.

Boxes of Hope founder and director Traci Fotorny fulfills requests for the care packages from across the nation and even from other countries. Recipients tell her their little pink box and the gifts inside brought them big positive feelings.

Rotary's theme this year is "Create Lasting Impact," and helping cancer warriors face their fight is one way Downtown Rotary does that.
