LOCK HAVEN -- Rotary District Governor Sean Murtagh brought a message to the two Rotary clubs in Lock Haven: "Create Lasting Impact."
This is Rotary's theme for 2026-27. It encourages clubs to serve their communities with projects that meet needs, catch the public's interest, and make a meaningful difference.
The Downtown Lock Haven club hosted a dinner for D.G. Sean's visit on July 28, featuring "letter sandwiches" from Leo's Deli that spelled out his first name.
Club President Lisa Schropp gave him with a basket of Lock Haven gifts and a donation to the Rotary Foundation in his honor.
Brent Jones represented the Rotary Club of Lock Haven, the parent of the Downtown Club. He gave D.G. Sean a loaf of his homemade bread and a similar check to the Rotary Foundation.
The dinner was held in Poorman Gallery. Ocean-themed decorations and seashell cookies honored the district governor's service in the Coast Guard.
