Covenant Cafe celebrates Cinco de Mayo, hears The Twisted Racquet Tears

Covenant Cafe had a busy May, celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day and more. To celebrate the holiday, participants enjoyed a Mexican hat dance and made Mother's Day hats. Later in the month, participants had the opportunity to visit the STEP, Inc. center and heard a performance by The Twisted Racquet Tears. Volunteers and participants alike enjoyed dancing, particularly the Polka, and more during the event. The Twisted Racquet Tears will be playing for the Alzheimer's Association's Longest Day fundraiser set for Sunday, June 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church.
