Micah Powers
Micah Powers, son of Dr. Richard and Leslie Powers of Mill Hall, recently received a doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. A graduate of Central Mountain High School, Micah previously received a bachelor of science in business administration from Duquesne University and a master of science in applied clinical nutrition from New York Chiropractic College.
Collin Jones
Collin Jones of Mill Hall, competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Winter 2020-2021 sports season. Jones, a graduate of Central Mountain High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in digital communications at Lebanon Valley College. Jones was a member of the men’s basketball team which completed a shortened season in 2021 due to COVID-19. The Dutchmen finished with an 8-3 overall record and reached the MAC Commonwealth Championship Game for the first time since 2017-18. LVC won its first six games of the season for their best start since 1998-99.
Amy Peterson
Amy Peterson was named to the dean’s list during the fall 2020 semester at Eastern Gateway Community College and was inducted into the Alpha Omicron Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Eastern Gateway Community College on Friday, March 19. Majoring in psychology, Amy is the daughter of Thomas and Denise Hillegass of Bedford, and is married to Richard M. Peterson of Mill Hall.
Savanna Koch
Savanna Koch of Jersey Shore has been named to the dean’s list at Gettysburg College for the Fall 2020 term.
