Mill Hall native John Brungard was featured on Southern New Hampshire University's Winter 2023 President's List. The winter term runs from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Kentucky College of Arts & Science

Josiah Cadman, of Bellefonte, recently enrolled in the University of Kentucky College of Arts & Sciences for fall 2023 with a prospective major of Mathematical Economics. The University of Kentucky College of Arts & Sciences is united in excellence. Its mission is to cultivate elevated student learning and experiences, advance innovative research and scholarship, and positively affect the lives of people in the Commonwealth, nation and world.

Pinning Ceremony

Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg’s School of Nursing held its annual pinning ceremony on Saturday, May 6, at the Haas Center for the Arts, Mitrani Hall. In total, 139 nursing students from the Class of 2023 received their pins to celebrate their accomplishments as well as look forward to their future as professional nurses. Madison Snook from Loganton was one of the nursing graduates to receive a pin.

Lebanon Valley College

Collin Jones of Mill Hall, is one of four Lebanon Valley College basketball players named to the City of Basketball Love (CoBL) All-Area Team. Jones earned Second Team honors after averaging a double-double with 18.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. The forward was a first team All-Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth selection with 468 points, 250 rebounds, 27 assists, 22 steals and eight blocks. He shot an impressive 51.9 percent from the floor and recorded an outstanding 13 double-doubles while being double and tripled teamed most games. Jones earns his second career CoBL honor after being selected to the First Team last year. Jones, a graduate of Central Mountain High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in digital communications at Lebanon Valley College.
