Saint Francis University has named Alyson Zell, of Lock Haven, as one of eight Orientation Directors leading the effort to welcome the Class of 2027 to the FlashFam! Alyson will join fellow Orientation Directors to lead first-class onboarding experience in August. Each Orientation Director volunteers to sacrifice the final weeks of summer, at no compensation, in order to ensure that first-year students have an exceptional transition into University life.

Rees Kelley. of Pleasant Gap, who is studying Mechanical Engineering, has made the Dean’s Honor List for the Spring 2023 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. Rensselaer’s Dean’s Honor List is compiled at the end of each semester to recognize undergraduate students who have completed 12 or more credit hours with a 3.5 grade point average or better for that term.

Mount Union
The University of Mount Union has announced that April George, of Cross Fork, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2023 semester. George was one of 645 students named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no letter grade below a B.
