Erin Reese earns medical degree from WVSOM

LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Erin Reese, D.O., graduated with honors from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree on May 2, 2025.
Dr. Reese graduated in the top 5% of her class. While at WVSOM, Reese received the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation for Academic Achievement as well as Gold Humanism Honor Society recognition.
She was a student representative on WVSOM’s Board of Governors, was historian of the Student Government Association and was a member of Psi Sigma Alpha, a national honorary osteopathic academic fraternity, as well as Sigma Sigma Phi, a national honorary osteopathic service fraternity. She also was a wellness committee liaison for the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents and participated in WVSOM’s student chapter of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations.
Reese earned a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa., in 2020. She is a 2016 graduate of Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall, Pa.
Reese is the daughter of Robert and Jacquie Reese of Lock Haven, Pa.
She plans to enter a residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Altoona followed by a dermatology residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo.
