To be named to the Dean’s list, a student must attend the university full-time and earn at least a 3.5 GPA. Provost Scholar status is achieved when students complete a minimum of 45 semester hours at IUP and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Endowed scholarship established for power generation students

WILLIAMSPORT — The David and LuAnn Shifter Endowed Scholarship for Power Generation has been established at Pennsylvania College of Technology, increasing a scholarship commitment originally made in 2018. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled in the electric power generation technology: diesel emphasis program at Penn College and be a new freshman student with demonstrated financial need.
