Kulander — Currie
The wedding of Dr. and Mrs. Christopher Stewart Kulander took place in a late afternoon ceremony on Oct. 26, 2018, at the Wellshire Inn, Denver.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Byron R. Kulander of Kingwood, Texas, and the grandson of Anna Mary Sullivan and the late John J. Sullivan, of Lock Haven. The bride is the former Theresa Currie, daughter of Gail and Jim Currie of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Terri graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. She is employed by the petroleum exploration company, EOG Resources, Houston.
Chris earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Geophysics from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He earned his PhD in Petroleum Seismology from Texas A & M and earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is a professor at the South Texas College of Law, Houston, and director of the Henry L. Reed Oil and Gas Institute.
The couple will honeymoon in Europe where Chris was granted a Fullbright Scholarship to teach and do research in Kauunas, Lithuania. They will make their home in Houston in May.
