On Monday, June 7, family, friends and community members celebrated a remarkable milestone as Donald Peters, husband of Carol Peters, long time resident of Mackeyville, Pa., celebrated his 90th birthday. Throughout his life, Donald has been well known throughout Clinton County for his dedication to his community and the people around him. Many residents remember Donald through his years operating a barber shop in Mill Hall, where he built friendships and served generations of local families. Donald has also been a strong supporter and valued asset to the Clinton County Fair, contributing to the fair that has been a long cherished tradition for area residents. His commitment to community service has extended through his active membership at the First Church of Christ in Lock Haven, where he has been a faithful member for many years.
