BELLEFONTE -- The Bellefonte Area High School Theatre Department will present their spring production of "Mamma Mia."
The shows will be staged in the Bellefonte Area High School Theatre, 830 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte.

ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father.
This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
The timeless songs propel this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show.
A large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make "Mamma Mia!" a guaranteed smash hit for any theatre. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
The musical is based off the book by Catherine Johnson and music and lyrics composed by Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for students and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are reserved seating and can be bought online at www.basd.net/finearts or at the door the night of performance.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m on Thursday, April 25. The Friday, April 27 performances will be at 1:30pm for the matinee performance and 6:30 p.m. as well.
