Rivers Langley

WILLIAMSPORT — Los Angeles comedian Rivers Langley will be coming to The Planet Bar, 326 Court St., Williamsport, on May 2 as part of a comedy show headline tour.

Langley is a stand-up comedian and podcaster based out of Los Angeles, California. He is the host of the popular podcast, “The Goods From The Woods.”

He is also co-producer of the hit stand-up showcase “Unnecessary Evil” at Westside Comedy Theater which was recently named by LA Weekly as one of the Top 10 stand-up shows in Los Angeles.

Rivers has also appeared on the Cooking Channel’s “Food: Fact or Fiction?” and on Funny or Die and Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0” as a member of the sketch group Hush Money. Rivers has done stand-up all over the world including the International Club in Dublin, Ireland and the first ever Yukon Comedy Festival in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada.

Also performing will be local comedians Chris William of Sunbury, Rasheed Wesley Jr of Chester.

Kevin Seibert of Williamsport will be hosting.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will run from 8 p.m. to 9:30. There is a $5 admission fee.
