City to screen ‘Wreck It Ralph 2’ this Saturday

LOCK HAVEN — Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets and get ready for the City of Lock Haven’s Free Movie under the stars!

The third movie of the season will be Disney and Pixar’s animated movie, “Wreck It Ralph 2.” Shown on a 16-foot inflatable movie screen at Triangle Park, the movie will begin at approximately 8:35 p.m. Admission is free to the public.

Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, “Sugar Rush.” In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet — the netizens – to help navigate their way, including an entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube.

Directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, Wreck It Ralph 2 is rated PG, and runs approximately 1 hour and 56 minutes .

Financial support of the Lock Haven Free Outdoor Movie Series is provided by UPMC Susquehanna Lock Haven.
