LOCK HAVEN -- Writing is often compared to a journey. And local author Barbara Irvan can easily see why.
"When I began keeping a journal in 2020, I didn’t think it would eventually grow into a book. However, that’s what happened when I sat down to reread my entries from that time," Irvin said of her latest published works. "I realized I could put them into book form. That’s where the idea for my second book, A Writer’s Journey, began. I didn’t have enough material to fill an entire manuscript, so I combined the journal with poems I’d written"
Irvan said she always wanted to put together a literary collection, and feels the end results in "A Writer's Journey" is a good start to several she plans to complete.
"A Writer’s Journey" is available in both electronic and paperback format. It can be purchased through Apple, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Amazon, Books-A-Million or by ordering it through any local bookstore.
Currently, Irvin is working on a young adult novella.
