The Rocket Blasters to take part in South Hills concert series

STATE COLLEGE -- South Hills School of Business & Technology announces the 11th event of the 2023 Music Picnic Series. On Sunday, Aug. 20, free entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. on the north lawn with "The Rocket Blasters"
The Rocket Blasters are a guitar and drums driven classic Top 40 Rock band from State College Pa., that plays hit songs from the late 1960s to today. The band performs throughout Central Pennsylvania, from State College to Johnstown and Altoona to Lewistown. The Rocket Blasters is known for adding its own power cord laden Rock 'n Roll flair to every song that it performs. In addition to highly danceable classic Top-40 Rock, the band mixes in modern pop, folk, outlaw country and ballads.
These free, outdoor concerts are held rain or shine at South Hills' main campus located at 480 Waupelani Drive, State College.
Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Grounds open at 4 p.m.; music starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 7:30 p.m. There is plenty of free parking and restrooms are available. Call 814-234-7755 or go to www.southhills.edu/music-picnic/ for all of the details
