LOCK HAVEN -- Chuck Kellander, a Class of 1992 Lock Haven Jr./Sr. High graduate, is set to return for a guitar performance on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Village Tavern, 525 E. Bald Eagle St., in Lock Haven. The event is part of the Lock Haven Fringe Fest.
Kellander, who resides in Bensalem, performs solo in the Bucks County and Philadelphia areas. He has performed with the Bucks County Singers, a show choir, The Neshaminy Valley Music Theater and Willow Manor Players. He also played various roles and characters in musicals including Annie, My Fair Lady and A Christmas Carol. Kellander also is in the band of his local church.
While a student at Lock Haven, he was in the choir and participated in Purple Whirl productions. He grew up in McElhattan and regularly returns to visit family. He owns a construction/contracting business outside of Philadelphia. His favorite memories of Lock Haven include Friday night football games at Painter Stadium and enjoying the first day of deer season off from school.
Chuck will perform classic and pop rock, jazz blues and original country music at The Village Tavern. Reservations for dinner at The Village Tavern are strongly encouraged.
