LOCK HAVEN — What could be better than bringing together two art groups for an exhibit?
Having it at the Station Gallery!
This year is the Clinton County Arts Council’s turn to be the hosting arts organization for the CCAC/BEAL COMBO exhibit in the Station Gallery at 2 E. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven.
“Each year our group joins together with the Bald Eagle Art League of Williamsport to have some friendly competition and exhibit inspiration together,” Carol Cillo, CCAC past president said. “Since we began this cooperative effort, we take turns having the exhibit every other year, one year here in Lock Haven, and the next year in Williamsport.”
The CCAC selects a judge from outside the participating and organizing artists to select ribbon awards for works they feel are the best in that particular year.

The call for entries is for “members only” and open to both group’s memberships.
“We accept all kinds of media and always have a wonderful showing of talent from these two areas of North Central PA,” Cillo said.
This 2024 exhibit will have an opening reception to be held at the Station Gallery Friday night, from 6-8 p.m. The awards will be announced at 7 p.m.
It is open to the public, so be sure to bring your friends to see the art, enjoy sharing with the artists, and have some great conversation before or after you head out to dinner or meet friends on this Friday night.
Seventeen artists are showing works in this show, with paintings, photos and more.

This year’s Awards Judge will be Rita Bower, educator and artist.

She is a former art educator, teaching art history and fine arts for grades kindergarten through twelve at South Tioga School District. After 35 years of teaching in the district, she is into a new “explorer” phase of her life.
“I am pleased to announce that I am into a new explorer phase of my life… new challenges, new directions to move in, it is wonderful,” Bower said.
