Pajama Factory hosts 3rd Annual ‘Unbuttoned’ event on May 17
WILLIAMSPORT — This Saturday, May 17, the Pajama Factory will open its doors for the 3rd Annual “Unbuttoned” event, featuring music, art, food and some open studios.
The highlight of the day will be WXPI’s “Antennafest,” an all-day music benefit aimed at expanding WXPI’s commercial-free public access radio broadcast to Williamsport.
Visitors are invited to explore over half a mile of artwork from numerous artists and visit open studios. BuzzSaw Coffee will be serving coffee until 5 p.m., and the White Knight Gamer’s Galley will offer food until 8 p.m. The Finish Line will also be serving drinks, and of course, there will be music throughout the day.

About WXPI
Since its inception in 2011, WXPI 88.5 FM, Williamsport, Pennsylvania’s all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, independent community radio station, has been dedicated to connecting, informing, educating, entertaining and inspiring the region. WXPI serves as a vital community hub, broadcasting stories, news, music and perspectives that matter most to the area it serves.
WXPI has recently received FCC approval to significantly expand its coverage capacity to better serve Williamsport and surrounding areas. To achieve this expansion, WXPI needs to boost its signal strength, purchase a larger transmitter, and build a tower at the Pajama Factory, the cultural heart of Susquehanna Valley artists. The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania has awarded a grant to the station, but these funds must be matched for WXPI to utilize them. The music event aims to raise $20,000 to support this effort, ensuring the continuation of unique musical programs such as Cowboy G, The Retro Classic Showcase, The Old Time Music Hour, The Rec Room Radio Hour and more. WXPI also offers syndicated national talk shows from Pacifica and provides opportunities for mentoring those interested in radio production, including training students at area schools.
Join them at the Pajama Factory this Saturday for a day of art, music and community support!
