LOCK HAVEN — The Edythe Hoy Bossert Gallery at the Ross Library presents “Feed Your Soul,” a new installation by Marianne Olivo, on view until Aug. 31.

At the heart of the exhibition is an unexpected medium — the humble lunch bag — transformed into a vessel for reflection, joy and daily sustenance.

For Marianne, art is nourishment. The work in Feed Your Soul is rooted in a simple truth: creativity is for everyone, every day.

“This work is my soul’s food,” the artist says. “Some days my painting practice lasts 20 minutes or less, but even in those brief moments, I feel replenished. It fills my cup.”

The lunch bag installation speaks to the accessibility of creative practice.

Just as a packed lunch sustains the body, small acts of making — painting, writing, cooking, photography, clay work — feed the spirit.

The show invites viewers to approach creativity without judgment or expectation, embracing the process over the product.

Feed Your Soul is more than an exhibition; it’s a gentle call to action: make something today. Not for the gallery wall, not for perfection, but for the quiet, essential nourishment it brings.
