The Otto Bookstore to bring Dog Man to Williamsport

WILLIAMSPORT — Get ready to wag your tails, Williamsport!

The Otto Bookstore is excited to bring beloved children’s book hero Dog Man to town for a special celebration from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Community Theatre League and everyone is invited to join the fun

Mayor Derek Slaughter will officially proclaim the day Dog Man Day in Williamsport, kicking off an event full of excitement for fans of the crime-fighting canine.

Each $20 ticket includes access to a meet-and-greet with Dog Man, a photo opportunity, exclusive swag and a copy of the new book, “Dog Man: Big Jim Believes” with a commemorative Dog Man Day stamp that you can only get at the event!

Additional guests in the same group can join the fun for just $5 each. (Please note: only the $20 ticket holder will receive the Dog Man Day stamp.)

Guests will also have the chance to win a Family Prize Pack from Liberty Arena and pick up exclusive Dog Man merchandise and special prizes.

“Dog Man has inspired so many kids to fall in love with reading,” said Kathryn Nassberg, co-owner of the Otto Bookstore. “We’re thrilled to celebrate that joy right here in Williamsport with a day dedicated to family fun and community.”

Dog Man Day promises a paw-some experience for readers of all ages — full of laughter, learning and plenty of photo ops.
