Wyant graduated from Lock Haven University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art.

Currently residing in Cedar Run, Pa., Wyant has transitioned to a full-time career in painting. She actively sells her original pieces and prints at local art and vendor markets during the spring and summer months. Wyant is a member of several art organizations, including the Bald Eagle Art League, Clinton County Arts Council, Wellsboro Art Club and Wellsboro Plein Air Painters. Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions at The Gmeiner Gallery in Wellsboro; Station Gallery in Lock Haven, and the Taber Museum in Williamsport.

Recently, she has begun participating in Plein Air Painting competitions which is both challenging and inspiring to her creative process.
“Creating art and inspiring others to be creative is my passion and calling. The process is as thrilling and enjoyable to me as the final product,” Wyant says about her work. “My primary mediums are acrylics on canvas and watercolor on paper, using various materials and techniques to achieve the desired texture, appearance or emotion in each piece. My style ranges from realistic to abstract, often blending both. Nature, particularly dramatic landscapes, wildlife and flowers, serves as my primary inspiration. My goal is to create images that evoke hope and joy.”
