Coming Together: CCAC, Bald Eagle Art League host combined exhibit at Station Gallery Friday

LOCK HAVEN -- The Clinton County Arts Council is partnering with Williamsport's Bald Eagle Art League to bring together its artists for a combined exhibit kicking off this Friday at The Station Gallery, 2 E. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven.
This year's event will feature work from 21 artists that include: Ron Beach, Sandy Considine, Pam Dill, Beth England, Philip Huber, Peg Johnston, Ric Jones, Maggie Kemmerer, Jeff Mathison, Anni Matsick, Deb Mezick, Susan Nicholas Gephart, Sue Nichols, Donna Schuman, Jennifer Shuey, Debra Taylor, Deb Trate, Becky Wall, Bruce Wallace, Jolie Wenner and Diane Wyant.
"We are always inspired by the wide variety of media that our local and regional artists use," a release from the CCAC said.
From Nun-felted or painted silk scarves, paintings using water colors, oils or acrylics to photographs, mixed-media, scratchboards, woodblock prints, collages, pastels and fiber arts, there's something unique and special to each piece.
"Images run the gamut -- from high realism to abstraction, from loosely painted to tightly drawn, showing textured textiles or unique scratchboard techniques," the release said. "You'll see a touch of wildlife, equestrian, floral, whimsical, contemplative, exploratory and more!"
The exhibit opens Friday, March 27, at 6 p.m., with awards being announced at 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited to stop by the gallery that day to enjoy refreshments at the reception until 8 p.m. and talk with fellow art lovers and artists.
"We extend special thanks to artist/member, Philip Huber, who helped us hang the exhibit, and to our award judges, Lynne and David Becker," the release said. "Lynne and David bring years of artistic experience from careers in professional photography and fine artworks in various media."
