Bellefonte announces Summer Sound Series line up for 2026

BELLEFONTE -- The Summer Sound Series at Talleyrand Park has announced its line up for the year.

Sponsored by the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association and a grant from the Bellefonte Elks Garver Fund, concerts begin June 7, starting at 7 p.m.

In case of rain, the concerts are moved indoors to Trinity Methodist Church, corner of West Howard and North Spring streets, Bellefonte.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs due to a limited number of benches at the park.

All the concerts are free and will include:

JUNE

-- June 7: Coal Alley, an 11 piece horn powered band who plays motown, funk, R&B, pop and rock.

-- June 14: The Lindy Sisters, a vocal trio who plays retrospective 1940s music.

-- June 21: 21 Honey, a 3 piece trio who plays acoustic rock and Americana.

-- June 28: Western Range, a quartet that performs Texas swing and honky tonk tunes.

JULY

-- July 5: Anchor and Arrow, a duo who performs soul, funk, rock and jazz.

-- July 12: Tommy Wareham and Friends, playing classic tunes from the 1930s to present day.

-- July 19: Walter Survivor, a quartet playing folk, Americana and pop.

-- July 26: Deacons of Dixieland, bringing Dixieland jazz to the park.

AUGUST

-- Aug. 2: Bellefonte Community Band, performing traditional marches and classic compositions.

-- Aug. 9: Nittany Valley Wranglers, playing bluegrass.

-- Aug. 16: Jonny Bull, playing classic rock, oldies and country.

-- Aug. 23: Denny Taylor performing solo with a variety of 1960s, 1970s and 1980s pop.
