During the 2025-2026 school year, 4th grade students at Robb Elementary worked with art teacher, Nathan Wilson, to paint three murals in the school. Two murals based upon the district themes of “All in” and “Seen, Heard, Loved” were painted in the conference room. A third mural “Be Kind” was painted on the main level of the school in the third grade hallway. These murals are part of an ongoing project to add color and meaning to walls throughout the building. Students participating in the mural project get a chance to leave a lasting mark on their elementary school as well as contribute to the climate of the building. They also get the chance to use art as a positive tool to enrich the daily experiences of the school community, as well as getting a glimpse into what it is like to work as a visual artist. In the past students have worked on murals in the main hallway and the common areas downstairs. Students involved included, Piper Fluck, Alix Kelsey, Juliet Lohman, Sully Richards, Sara Monoski, Ash Reed, Remi McCarthy, Dante Tyson, Addington Taylor, Trinity Hevner, Liam Vittorio, Charlotte McCloskey, Aria Armstrong, Kasey Kline, Daxton Maggs, Ava Kinley, Addy Norris, Wesson Pittman, La’Shaun Harriott and Starr Raudabaugh.
