LEMONT -- This week's concert on Friday, July 24, features ACOUSTIC ARTIFACTS and OverheaD, with Eileen Christman and Jerre Price -- Acoustic Artifacts from 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and OverheaD with Eileen Christman, Kevin Fagley, Tom Mallouk, Rick Plut and Doug Teti. Jim Thorn provides his sound expertise.
Donations collected benefit the next project for granary restoration. Work is finished, with the back exit bridge funding aided by a grant from the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau and Centre Gives donations. Two new projects are being discussed by the Granary Committee and Board, and we just received a new marketing grant from the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau.
If there is light rain -- the concert is on, bring gear. If thunder and lightning, the concert will be moved to the Granary. Please check the website, www.lemontvillage.org, after 5 p.m. on Friday for weather conditions and updates. If it's still hot, bring shade and we'll provide cold water.
Ice cream cones are being provided by the Scouts of Troop 367. Ice cream cones are available starting at 7 p.m. Your donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit the Troop and their scouting activities.
Picnics are welcome, please take your trash home and please bring chairs or blankets. Remember, it starts at 7:30 p.m.
