Porch Party to perform at South Hills School of Business and Technology this Sunday

STATE COLLEGE -- South Hills School of Business & Technology announces the eleventh event of the 2026 Music Picnic Series. On Sunday, Aug. 23, free entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. on the north lawn with Porch Party.
Porch Party is a fun-loving, laid back State College cover band featuring a wide variety of songs -- folk, blues, country, mellow rock and more. Known for their tight harmonies and unique arrangements, Porch Party has something for everyone. Band members include Liz Lasher, Mickey Tomasetti, Tom Mallouk, Michelle Katz and Randy Doughty.
These free, outdoor concerts are held rain or shine at South Hills' main campus located at 480 Waupelani Drive, State College.
Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Grounds open at 4 p.m.; music starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 7:30 p.m.
This year we will be featuring a "Dogs on the Run" hot dog cart for dogs and snacks. There is plenty of free parking and restrooms are available.
