A Little Bird cuts the ribbon again

LANA MUTHLER/THE EXPRESS

Tina Newberry and Lisa Henderson had the second ribbon cutting ceremony for their store — A Little Bird — welcoming the community to visit their much larger store at 132 E. Main St., Lock Haven. The women opened A Little Bird at 310 N. Grove St., on Nov. 1, 2020, and soon learned they needed and wanted more space to show their wares. With the departure of Taco Inc. on Main Street, the owners decided to move. On Saturday morning, a ribbon cutting was held at the new location. The store carries a large variety of items, from clothing to soaps, salves and jewelry. After only seven months of operation, the shop expanded, with lots of fun and unique gifts that always give back, as their products support small, local, women-owned and eco-friendly and charitable businesses. Call (570) 858-1949 or visit alittlebirddesigns.com. Pictured are, from left, Peyton Hepburn, Brielle Henderson, Tina Newberry, Lisa Anderson and Olivia Henderson. The youngsters are the children of Lisa Henderson. The store is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
