Bookstore moves to new location, changes name

LAURA JAMESON/THE EXPRESS

The former Avenue Bookstore has a new location and new name. Now called Main Street Books, the store moved to the former Vape Haven space at 134 E. Main St. in downtown Lock Haven. Owner Kris McMann said the space is larger and gives her the ability to stock more books and expand her stock of skateboards and other apparel. Although the name has changed, McMann said not much else has. She still has a variety of books and various genres; continues to bring in new vinyl, CDs and DVDs, and has a range of kids books in her new “Kid Corner.” Main Street Books is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. To learn more about the store, stop down or visit its social media pages “Main Street Books.”

Starting at $3.69/week.
