BELLEFONTE — Sunny Days Adult Daily Living Center, a family-owned and operated organization specializing in providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), proudly announces its 20th anniversary.

Since its founding in 2004, Sunny Days Adult Daily Living Center has been a cornerstone of the Centre County community, offering compassionate, high-quality care and support for individuals and families in need.

Founded by Phyllis Galio, Sunny Days Adult Daily Living Center began with the mission to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for individuals with IDD. Over the past two decades, the agency has grown significantly, expanding its services to meet the diverse needs of the community while remaining true to its family values and commitment to personalized care.

“We are incredibly proud to reach this milestone,” said James Galio, president of Sunny Days Adult Daily Living Center. “For 20 years, we have had the privilege of supporting some of the most wonderful individuals in Centre County. Our dedication to delivering high-quality care has never wavered, and we look forward to continuing our mission for many more years to come.”

Sunny Days Adult Daily Living Center provides a wide range of services, including residential support, day programs and personal assistance services (PAS). With a dedicated team of skilled professionals, the agency tailors its services to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that every person receives the attention and care they deserve.

To celebrate this significant achievement, Sunny Days Adult Daily Living Center will host a special 20th-anniversary event on Nov. 16, at 105 Stonecrest Drive, Suite 1, in Bellefonte.

The celebration will bring together clients, families, staff and community members to reflect on the agency’s journey, recognize its impact and honor those who have made it all possible. The event will include refreshments and a presentation of the services offered.

“We want this celebration to be a moment to thank everyone who has been part of our story — our clients, their families, our dedicated staff and the Centre County community,” added Galio. “Without their support and belief in what we do, this milestone wouldn’t have been possible.”
