WILLIAMSPORT — Woodlands Bank is proud to announce the return of their Everyday Hero Community Service Award, an award that honors local individuals who go above and beyond in serving their communities through volunteerism.

The Everyday Hero Community Service Award recognizes non-paid individuals who surpass the normal call for duty for a local non-profit organization. Nominated by the non-profit they serve, these individuals exemplify the true spirit of community service. In addition to honoring the recipients, the program also provides an opportunity for the winning non-profits to share their mission and impact throughout the region.

Three Everyday Heroes and the non-profits they serve are selected as award recipients by a panel of judges. Winners and their non-profits will be featured in an awareness campaign, including social media, billboards and print advertising. Each non-profit will receive a monetary donation in support of their cause. The selected Everyday Heroes will be honored during the Woodlands Bank Everyday Hero Breakfast, where a custom-made video highlighting their stories will be shown and the non-profits they support will be premiered.
