The business, owned by Trent Muthler, already operates successful branches in Jersey Shore and Winfield (Lewisburg).

While Jo’s Equipment has built its reputation on providing professional-grade products, the Lock Haven branch is designed with residential customers in mind.

The store’s initial focus is on battery-powered tools, making it a convenient option for homeowners and hobbyists. The inventory is expected to expand in the coming months, and professional-grade products from other Jo’s Equipment locations can be brought to Lock Haven upon request.

In addition, small rental products are planned for future offerings, giving customers even more flexibility.

Visitors to the new location will find a selection of trusted brands such as Scag, Wright, STIHL and TYM Tractors.

To mark the occasion, Jo’s Equipment will host a Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, Sept. 5, and Saturday, Sept. 6. The event will feature free hot dogs and hamburgers, exclusive discounts including 10 percent off all handheld items, and door prizes with no purchase necessary.

The celebration offers residents a chance to explore the store, meet the staff and take advantage of the special promotions.

Jo’s Equipment’s Lock Haven branch is located at 801 Bellefonte Ave.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The business is closed on Sunday.
