While supporting storm restoration efforts in the Albany, N.Y. area, a tree trimming crew from Patriot Tree Surgeons, LLC, was focused on helping communities recover from the storm and restoring service where it was needed the most. During the deployment, a local resident approached the team with an unexpected request. Faced with the difficult decision of surrendering three puppies to a shelter, she asked if anyone could provide them with a home. Without hesitation, members of the crew stepped up. Thanks to Joe Darby, Alex Sycz and Kyel Bilbay, all three puppies (only five weeks old and in desperate need of vet care) found caring homes. Patriot takes pride in being there when communities need help the most. Sometimes that means restoring power…sometimes it means lending a hand in ways you might never expect.
