For the Clinton County Economic Partnership, my role as Chamber/Tourism Director has been nothing short of exhilarating. Working with a dedicated team and collaborating with multiple businesses and organizations, we've embarked on various projects aimed at enhancing tourism and boosting our local economy.
I've observed the remarkable resilience and adaptability of our team. Collectively, we've embraced change, effortlessly implementing innovative ideas that are reshaping the landscape of tourism and economic development in Clinton County.
My initial focus involved elevating the visibility of our website by initiating a redevelopment process that encompasses both the website and branding. The redesign is currently in progress, and we are extracting substantial data from our county to enrich its content.
Scheduled for an early summer debut, our forthcoming launch pledges to provide the community and visitors with a user-friendly platform, facilitating seamless exploration of the wonders within Clinton County.
Serving as a hospitable gateway for tourists, this digital hub will furnish in-depth information on attractions, lodging choices, and upcoming events.
To celebrate our community's artistic spirit, we're organizing an immersive mural tour across the county. This initiative is designed to spotlight the incredible murals gracing our neighborhoods. To kick off this endeavor, we hosted a live mural presentation at the PA State Flaming Foliage Festival in Renovo.
The event not only marked the beginning of our mural tour but also provided a captivating preview of the artistic wonders that await locals and visitors alike.
In tune with the times, we've embraced digital transformation with a 2024 events booklet available on our website. This comprehensive digital guide ensures that both locals and tourists stay updated on exciting happenings in our county, fostering a sense of community engagement.
Communication has been enhanced with two revamped e-blast newsletters: CCEP Membership Updates and Clinton County Events. The CCEP Membership Update delivers bi-weekly e-blasts on Tuesdays, offering valuable details on grants and training opportunities, fostering camaraderie among partners and supporting local enterprises. To keep everyone informed, we also send bi-weekly Clinton County Event e-blasts on Thursdays, ensuring visitors and the community are updated on engaging activities in Clinton County. Building on Julie's legacy, she introduced the Susquehanna Grains and Grapes Trail -- a gastronomic adventure through the flavors of our region.
