Model club’s Fall Train Meet is Nov. 2
MILL HALL – The Clinton Central Model Railroad Club announces its annual Fall Train Meet will be held Sunday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Hall, Water Street (Route 64).
This train show is one of the club’s major fundraising events. Funds from this event will provide future layout expansion, train station maintenance and other projects underway at the club’s home in the former New York Central Railroad Station in Castanea.
Show activities include quality dealers providing new and used model railroad trains and equipment, repair parts and model cars, trucks, old toys, and buildings. A variety of new, used, old, and antique model railroad items will be available to the general public.
Complimentary door prizes will be called hourly, and good homemade food will be provided by club members.
Club items such as hats, patches, and decals will be available, as will information on future club activities and membership.
Railroad videos will be playing all day long on the fire hall’s multiple TV sets.
