Dusty Boots Riding Club forms

EXPRESS ARCHIVES

Seventeen members of the newly organized Dusty Boots Riding Club left Loganton on July 4, 1959, for their first trail ride. The group gathered at 9 a.m. to prepare for the 22-mile trek from Loganton to the Half-Way Dam recreation area, east of Livonia. From left are Judy Holdren, Sharon Shaffer, director Thomas Smith, Merrill Holdren, Larry Shelly and president William Harbach. A “chuck wagon” carrying lunches for the local rider and horses met the group at the state recreation area.

Starting at $3.69/week.
