Mike Adams

LOCK HAVEN — Mike Adams will be visiting Lock Haven University campus, hosted by LHU Young Americans for Liberty, on Thursday, March 21 at 7 p.m. in PUB 2.

Mike Adams is a professor of Sociology and Criminology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW), as well as an author of several books, his most recent titled Letters to a Young Progressive: How to Avoid Wasting Your Time Protesting Things You Don’t Understand.

After being denied a promotion at the university, Adams filed a lawsuit against administration and officials at UNCW for First Amendment discrimination. After Adams won in a jury trial, an appeal by UNCW resulted in a settlement for promotion and seven years back-pay.

Adams will be lecturing on the threats to campus liberty in relation to the importance of free speech and free thought in academia. The event is open to the public.
