The Mill Hall Kiwanis & Flemington Hi-Neighbor Committee will be having a Chicken Bar-B-Que on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Take out only. Snow date Feb. 22. Tickets $8, available from any of the members.
The McElhattan United Methodist Church will be hosting a soup & sandwich sale Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Menu items will consist of vegetable soup and hot sausage sandwiches. Take-out will also be available.
Learn to Dance
The Central Pennsylvania Country Dance Association will hold a Contra Dance on Friday, Jan. 17 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the State College Friends School, 1900 University Drive. Bruce Young will call the dances to music by Strath Hanna. All dances are taught and easy to learn. No partner is needed. The steps are similar to square dancing.
